I was reading a good book last night called "It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be" by Paul Arden. It's a very facinating book for anyone interested in philosophies on how to win in life. Here were 3 things I got out of it so far:
1) "Your vision of where or who you want to be is the greatest asset you have ."
2) "Without having a goal, it's difficult to score."
3) "It's Right to be Wrong"
"Start by being wrong and suddenly anything's possible. You're no longer trying to be infallible. You're in the unknown. There's no way of knowingwhat can happen, but there's more chance of it being amazing than if you try to be right. Being wrong isn't in the future, or in the past. Being wrong isn't anywhere but here. Best place to be, eh?"
Second thing, please continue praying for my dad. I got to see him over VTC(Video teleconference) on Sunday morning which was neat! He was on a movie screen, life sized...no delays in sound or video so it was like I was talking to him like normal. He also could see us, and the lucky duck had better video quality than we did too...his feed was crystal clear.:) But he travels a lot because he's the commander, so please pray for his safety. I thank God for each of you every day, I'm so blessed to have such uplifting friends.
